When we say, “sailed into the area”, we mean it literally. Whitney Edwards principals Richard Edwards and Charlene Whitney Edwards brought their sailboat around from Michigan to the tranquil waters of the Chesapeake Bay in 1985. Here they saw both an opportunity to market their graphic design and corporate communications services, and yet still enjoy the good life of small town America. As the Mid-Shore has grown over the years, so has Whitney Edwards, now employing five people (and one dog) and counting many of the region’s businesses among our valued clients. As a communications team, we take a coordinated approach, developing visual images, concepts, written material, and avenues for action. Although each of us has a specific background combining education and experience, we have a chemistry a creative group dynamic that amplifies our individual skills. Our relationships in the studio, and with our clients, are comfortable, enjoyable, and mutually rewarding. Located along the scenic, historic streets of downtown Easton, Maryland, Whitney Edwards is headquartered in the old Pub building, a favorite local hangout. Although few remembrances of those beer-swilling days remain, our office emits the friendly atmosphere of that bygone time when you could pull up a barstool and just chill.
