The Business Marketing Association - Chicago Chapter was founded in 1919 as the Association of Industrial Advertisers. The group later became the Business/Professional Advertising Association. In 1991 the name Business Marketing Association was adopted to better reflect the true responsibilities of todays business-to-business communicators. The Business Marketing Association of Chicago is an Illinois Not-For-Profit Corporation operating as a local chapter of the national Business Marketing Association. BMA/Chicago is a unique business-to-business marketing organization, with unquestionably the most talented marketing professionals. We are a community of more than 450 b-to-b marketers focused on learning and networking.
