Outdoor Media Association Incorporated in Marketing & Advertising Business Directory

In August 2006, the Outdoor Media Association contracted a consortium of Australian and international research companies (VIEW Measurement) to develop its first industry-wide audience measurement system. Outdoor media companies are investing almost $5 million in the Measurement of Outdoor Visibility and Exposure (MOVE) project, which is on schedule for launch in the second half of 2008. The new system will provide accurate reach and frequency measurement of target demographics for more than 50,000 outdoor faces throughout the greater metropolitan regions of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. It will cover almost all formats and environments, including on the roadside, within shopping and airport environments, on public transport and within pedestrian malls - a significant advance on international systems.
