Bart Kelsey has been a lenticular practioner since 2002 when he successfully completed his honours year majoring in lenticular imaging in the Bachelor of Applied Science Photography program at RMIT University, Melbourne. He has worked as a lenticular consultant to Australias largest label printing company and participated in R&D projects with a number of reputable printing companies in both offset and digital print. Bart Kelsey also holds a Diploma of Applied Science in Orthoptics and has worked as a digital imaging specialist in the Dept of Photography at Monash University Medical School. He is a member of the Institute of Photographic Technology. Besides 2D-to-3D conversion, Bart Kelsey also provides a 3D photography service for the capture of still subjects, but in a world first, he and his associate Mark Ruff (Time Splice) now offer real-time 3D capture of dynamic subjects for 3D lenticular print production, which is a high end alternative to 2D-to-3D image conversion. Moreover, the acquired images from the camera array shoot can be played back as a lenticular animation print, and be used for cross media purposes such as website animations, motion posters, and Time Splice effects as seen in television commercials.
