My name is Alun John and welcome to my site Marketing Tom. For around ten years I have immersed myself in the Internet industry and have worked with a diverse range of businesses. Over this time I have helped companies gain an effective Internet presence and, along the way, made them hundreds of thousand of pounds in revenue (multiply that by 2 for dollars!). I have also saved them money, helped them move into new markets and shown them how they can more work productively. My work centres on offering Internet Marketing Consultancy and developing and delivering Internet Marketing Workshops. In 2005, I worked on creating the UKs first eMarketing Centre of Excellence, which is based in Swanseas new SA1 development. Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing it delivers the eMarketing Award to local businesses. Over the past few years I have delivered courses to over 100 companies and have a good understanding of the online marketing needs of small SMEs - in both the B2B and B2C sectors. The courses that I now deliver to clients stem from my core skills - Search Engine Optimisation, Business Blogging, Pay-per-click and Web 2.0 technologies. These are areas I´ve excelled in and where I can pass my knowledge on to clients. I also run a well-trafficked website called Mad About Madrid, which receives around 600+ visitors a day from all over the world (mainly the USA). This website, Marketing Tom, has been running for around 3 years and allows me discuss issues relating to Internet Marketing and Blogging to a wide audience.
