We started in 1995 in a small backroom office in New York City. Chan Suh and Kyle Shannon recognized the potential of interactive technologies and opened Agency.com for business to give clients a full service interactive agency with Web development and interactive marketing services. We led the way in a new industry and quickly built a top-notch client base. We expanded our business through work with companies like British Airways, Deutsche Bank, Nike, Sprint and Texaco. In 1996, Omnicom Group, Inc., a leading global advertising, marketing and corporate communication company, strengthened our staff and resources by purchasing a significant minority investment. This relationship fueled our growth and allowed us to provide more interactive services to our global clients. In 1999 we acquired itraffic to expand our online marketing offering. Then we went public. We were flush with growth, expanded revenues and a larger client roster. We didnt think it could get better. But in 2000 ADWEEK named us Best Full-Service Interactive Agency. In 2001 Seneca Investments, LLC, an e-services holding company formed by Omnicom and Pegasus Partners II, L.P, purchased all of our outstanding shares taking us private again. This strengthened our financial position during tough economic times and allowed us to continue making strategic acquisitions. Then in 2003, we became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Omnicom Group, Inc., solidifying our original commitment to leading the interactive marketing industry. Were happy to say that several years later were still leading the industry as the full service interactive agency. In 2005 we celebrated our tenth anniversary. We were also named Best Creative Agency by OMMA Magazine and B-to-B Interactive Agency of the Year by BtoB Magazine. Today we have over 550 employees in eleven global offices, and our long-term clients include global brands across a number of industries like 3M, British Airways, BT, eBay, HP, Maidenform and T-Mobile. Ever since opening our doors, we have been consistently recognized within the industry for our work and innovation.
