President Cindy Thyfault has over 20 years business experience in development and management of agricultural value-added manufacturing projects, residential and industrial construction, building products, and consumer goods. She received her bachelors degree in business with an emphasis on international business and marketing from West Texas A & M University, Canyon, Texas and has completed course work toward an MBA degree. Her company also developed a marketing division for print, multi-media, website, and video production from 2000-2004. The company developed and implemented a wide range of internet marketing services for customers throughout the Texas Panhandle and the U.S. This division was sold in 2004, and has grown and flourished with the new owners. She has served as a member of the Business Council of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce from 1996-2001, and served on the Global Business Sub-Committee from 2001-2004. She currently serves on the West Texas District Export Council, a volunteer organization assisting development of international trade as part of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Ms. Thyfault is also an accomplished speaker and has given presentations on value-added agricultural development at the Cooperative Leadership Conference, Spokane, Washington, 1996; New Mexico Economic Development Conference, Roswell, 1996; Oklahoma Wheat Growers Annual Meeting, 1997; Cooperative Development Training Conference, Eau Claire and Madison, Wisconsin, 1998; and various civic and rural development groups. She has also published articles in the Rural Cooperatives Magazine, 1996; and Pacific Rim Wood Marketing Report, 1994.
